Media A.B.C. Holding B.V. is registered as a business in the Netherlands, however the ultimate owners are not public nor listed by Media Works Sh.p.k., the company operating in Kosovo. Media Works Sh.p.k owns and manages Gazeta Express, an online news portal which was formerly a newspaper, and T7, a television station.

The Netherlands based company Media A.B.C. Holding B.V purchased the Kosovo firm Media Works Sh.p.k from the Albanian firm A.B.C. Management. At the time of the transaction, the Dutch company Media A.B.C. Holding B.V was the owner of A.B.C Management.

Nikita Vinogradov approved the purchase on behalf of the owners of the Dutch company Media A.B.C. Holding B.V..

The Kosovo Business Registration Agency, ARBK, does not have data on the ultimate owners of Media A.B.C Holding B.V.. However, the ultimate owners have been listed at the Independent Media Commission, IMC, in Kosovo.

In a written response to the Media Ownership Monitor project, the IMC said that the owners of the Media A.B.C. Holding B.V. with registration number 85264679 (based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands) are the following shareholders: Klodian Allajbeu, E.A, Iris Allajbeu, A. A. and I. A., all of them are citizens of Albania.

Klodian Allajbeu is a businessman who owns various businesses in Albania and Kosovo; Iris Allajbeu is Klodian’s wife, whereas E.A, A.A and I.A are their children.

While the change of ownership of T7 was registered at the Kosovo Business Registry Agency, the process of changing ownership of the TV licence with the Independent Media Commission has not yet been completed.

According to official data of the National Business Center in Albania, Klodian Allajbeu is listed as a co-owner/shareholder in eight businesses operating in Albania. Some of the businesses where Allajbeu is a director have their parent companies in the Netherlands.

Klodian Allajbeu is the founder and director of the American Hospital in Albania and the American Hospital in Kosovo. The webpage of the Spitalit Amerikan (American Hospital) lists Klodian Allajbeu as the executive director of the hospital. The webpage of the hospital in Kosovo lists Klodian Allajbeu as its director. At the Kosovo Business Registration Agency, ARBK, the American Hospital is listed as owned by the Amerikan Hospital Sh.A..

The parent company Amerikan Hospital Sh.A. is registered as a business in Albania. The owner of the Amerikan Hospital Sh.A. is a Dutch based company, Balkan Alliance Healthcare B.V. The owners of the latter are not public. Nevertheless, Klodian Allajbeu is the administrator and a member of the supervisory council of the business Amerikan Hospital Sh.A, registered in Albania. Furthermore, a document of the Kosovo Competition Authority mentions Kodian Allajbeu as a minority shareholder with 13.67% at the the “Balkan Alliance Healthcare BV”.

Klodian Allajbeu is the sole owner of Medical Recycling Future Cement company and Energy Project. The latter deals with electric energy production. He owns 25% of the shares, in N&S Telecom, a company providing electronic communications networks and services.

He owns 50% of shares of Con Energy Albania, which currently is suspended as a business; 10% of the shares at Blue sea mariculture Albania (suspended status as a business). He also owns 90% of the shares at the Western Balkans University, which was registered in 2020, as well as 100% of the shares at the Anamark, registered in 2015.

Iris Polovina- Allajbeu is Klodian Allajbeu’s wife. She owns 100% of shares at the Medical Aesthetics company registered in 2012. Iris Allajbeu is the current head of the radiology department at the American Hospital in Tirana and a professor at the Western Balkans University, where her husband Klodian Allajbeu has 90% of the shares. A. A and I. A. are their daughters. E.A is their son.
