Her career in journalism includes roles at "Milenium" magazine from 2002 to 2003, a year as a journalist and editor at "Bota Sot," and work as a journalist at the daily "20 Minuta" and "Iliria Post" from 2004-2005. For seven years, from 2003 to 2010, she was a columnist in literature and culture at the weekly magazine "Zëri," "Zëri" daily, and other daily newspapers.
From 2005 to 2015, she served as a presenter, journalist, and marketing manager at Radio Plus Sh.p.k. From January 2010 to December 2015, Gashi Hamzaj worked as a journalist, presenter at Klan Kosova, and producer of the "Ora e Pasdite" show on this television. In 2006-2007, she worked as a marketing consultant at the marketing company "Molos Studio."
In various periods from 2020 to 2023, Gashi Hamzaj has been engaged as an expert with Development Alternatives Incorporated (DAI), GIZ, Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), and USAID.
