Radio KFOR in both languages broadcasts music, news and other information on events and symbolic dates. The Radio broadcasts in two languages: Albanian and Serbian. The purpose of Radio KFOR was for all ethnicities in Kosovo to obtain information from a credible source and without prejudice based on ethnic background.

The Radio broadcasts various programs including sitcoms, diverse music, info-entertainment, entertainment and current affairs news. The Radio also has daily guests from various backgrounds such as artists, musicians, activists etc.

In addition to upholding safety, security, and freedom of movement, the NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo conducts various awareness raising campaigns through TV ads that convey messages on tolerance and cohabitation, various ethnicities and cultures.

Additionally, the KFOR mission produced various ads in order to increase trust in Kosovo institutions and to facilitate cooperation between ethnicities and inclusivity. This is broadcast on other radios and TV stations.

Is an international military and political organization that is comprised of member states. It is brought together through a security agreement known as the North Atlantic Treaty, otherwise known as the Washington Treaty. NATO was established on April 4th 1949, with the key purpose of guaranteeing the collective security of its members.
In the event of an attack against one member state, the Treaty envisages that all other members are obliged to assist in the defense of the attacked state. This concept is known as “collective security".
NATO consists of member states from Europe and North America and is one of the most important security organizations in the world. NATO also undertakes peacekeeping missions, including the KFOR Mission in Kosovo, which was established with the 1244 Resolution of the UN Security Council, and adopted in June 1999.
The mission of KFOR is to contribute to a safe and secure environment; support and coordinate the international humanitarian effort and civil presence; support the development of a stable, democratic, multi-ethnic and peaceful Kosovo and to support the development of the Kosovo Security Force. Currently, there are 28 states contributing to the NATO mission.
